In the ever-evolving landscape of forensic medicine and sciences, credibility and continuous advances are the cornerstones of our practice. This year's convention is formulated to be a dynamic platform for Forensic Pathologists, Forensic Odontologists, Medical Officers, Dental Officers, Forensic Scientific Officers and Assistant Medical Officers dedicated to staying at the forefront of our field.

The organizing committee is honored to host the upcoming International Convention of Forensic Medicine and Sciences (ICFMS) in Kota Kinabalu, marking its inaugural presence in this city. Kota Kinabalu is in the Malaysian state of Sabah at the northeastern part of Borneo, renowned for its natural beauty.
ICFMS 2024 is a collaboration between the Malaysian Society of Forensic Medicine and Sciences (MaSForMS) with the Ministry of Health of Malaysia (MOH). In recent years, the scope of the convention has significantly evolved, transforming from a national-level conference into an international event.
The upcoming ICFMS offers an array of forensic and related topics. The programme includes pertinent issues in forensic pathology, forensic odontology and cardiac pathology. Additionaly, it covers topic on coroner system as practiced in different countries, as well as biosafety level 4 post-mortem facilities and PMCT to cater to a broad range of interests.
These topics will be presented by esteemed speakers from countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and, of course, Malaysia. Their wealth of expertise and experiences will undoubtedly enrich our learning journey. We envision a gathering that transcends borders and hope everyone will benefit from the convention.
